THE DOKLAM DISPUTE(2017 Memory)
The DOKLAM plateau is a Tri- Junction between India, Bhutan and China. Recently,Stand off is between Indian and Chinese troops in Sikkim sector, as Chinese authorities asked New Delhi to withdraw forces.The area is located near the Chumbi Valley, but under China's control. Bhutan claims its sovereignty over it. Recently, China removed an Indian bunker in Sikkim sector. Chinese alleged that Indian troops entered the Chinese side in DOKLAM. Chinese authorities have closed the Nathu LA pass to Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims.India also objected road construction by China.Chumbi Valley near the DOKLAM is Strategically important in the Tibetan region where China plans for rail connectivity. The disputed area provides bigger buffer to sensitive Chicken's Neck (the Siliguri Corridor) of India. It connects NE Region to the rest of India.
According to the Boundary Convention 1890 between India and China,the boundary of Sikkim and Tibet shall be the crest of the mountain range separating the border into the Teesta River.
In case of boundary dispute, all parties should not fight each other. Rather, they should sort out the dispute through DIALOGUE and finding the best amicable solution.
China should not threaten of War.Although India is a country of Peace, but India must not let any... any... any nation to do war and win.Now ,India is ' Mighty India' .
War brings huge loss. India should always try to bring PEACE. If any nation initiates WAR,India should not let the nation to be left.
No nation should think itself as powerful. History tells,' Existence becomes Unstable'. China should 'Think before it Leaps'. China should always try to establish PEACE rather Conflict. ' PEACEFUL CO- EXISTENCE' is required for Universalism and Human Development.
